Unicoach is a long-term and joint venture between Swedish Professional Football Leagues and Unibet with the aim to develop the Swedish elite football. Through resources, training and leadership, together we create the conditions for continued positive development. The vision is to jointly develop the Nordic region’s foremost youth academies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unicoach includes the 32 clubs in Allsvenskan and Superettan and their youth academies. Each year Unibet donates SEK 15 million in Unicoach. The resources will be distributed to the 32 clubs in the Allsvenskan and Superettan based on the established certification process of Swedish Professional Football Leagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An expanded investment to build the Swedish football of the future<\/strong>
Swedish Professional Football Leagues, together with Unibet, is involved in the development of the Swedish elite football of the future. The idea is to develop Swedish elite football and that Allsvenskan becomes one of the leading leagues in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unicoach is a long-term collaboration between Unibet and Swedish Professional Football Leagues, where Swedish Professional Football Leagues has the project manager role. The focus is on training coaches and leaders so that they can work full time and create as good an environment as possible for young talent to develop in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overall goal of the collaboration is to create future elite players for our elite clubs. The original idea is to develop and secure Swedish elite football and to develop the football being played at the arenas in Allsvenskan and Superettan also in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2020, Unibet will invest a total of SEK 15 million per year in the work with Unicoach. The resources will be distributed to the 32 clubs in Allsvenskan and Superettan based on the certification process of Swedish Professional Football Leagues. The investment means that the 32 clubs are guaranteed at least SEK 100,000 each in increased funds each season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An increased focus on coaches and new skills to support and influence the elite football of the future
<\/strong>Through Unicoach, the clubs gets increased resources, but also new knowledge and additional focus on those who have the greatest impact on the future football players in Sweden – leaders and coaches. The ambition is to give these key people even better opportunities in their everyday lives. Unicoach will create conditions for cooperation, networking and exchange. Unicoach will contribute new knowledge, insights and inspiration. Unicoach will focus on new areas such as mental training and mental illness, areas that are important for the players on and off the field. Unicoach will also pay attention to and pay tribute to those who do the work with the players of the future in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
