The official league ball from SELECT started to be used ahead of the 2017 season. 2023 will be the seventh straight season with an official league ball for both Allsvenskan and Superettan. The current agreement runs through the 2024 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2023 league ball is called Brillant Super and is a quality ball made of high-quality materials with the characteristics of the classic SELECT ball. The surface material’s new 3D diamond structure guarantees an even more stable trajectory, optimized friction between ball and shoe and the best grip for goalkeepers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We within the League organization and our member clubs appreciate our fine collaboration with SELECT and, in addition, which is most important, the players consider the league ball to be of a very high standard. SELECT as a supplier really stands for the high quality and service that you want from a long-term partner. The league balls also add an important business dimension at the league level”, says Jan Karlsson, Sales Director at Swedish Professional Football Leagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, 662 goals were scored in Allsvenskan and 694 in Superettan with SELECT’s league ball. A total of 1356 goals for both series and an average of 2.8 goals per game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
