Swedish football is in mourning. Sven-Göran Eriksson, one of our greatest coaches of all time, has passed away. To honor Svennis’s memory, a minute of silence will be observed at all Allsvenskan and Superettan stadiums tonight and tomorrow.
The decision to hold a minute of silence was made collectively by the Swedish elite football. The clubs themselves will decide whether to wear armbands in mourning.
All thoughts are with Sven-Göran Eriksson’s family and loved ones.
