Swedish Professional Football Leagues and PlaymakerAI are extending their collaboration regarding Allsvenskan and Superettan, which began during the 2024 season. The new agreement will also cover the 2025 season.
“We believe that the partnership contributes to raising the quality of our leagues by giving clubs the opportunity to analyze both themselves and their opponents in a structured and thoughtful way,” said Svante Samuelsson, Sporting Director of Swedish Professional Football Leagues.
PlaymakerAI is a web-based platform that collects a large amount of football data and transforms it into enhanced football insights using artificial intelligence. PlaymakerAI helps streamline team, match, and player analysis.
“We are incredibly pleased to extend the partnership with Swedish Professional Football Leagues. Our view is that Swedish men’s football made a significant leap forward last year by using our platform, Playmaker Nothing. The platform lowers the threshold for data analysis, making high-quality and tailored analysis accessible without any programming,” said Joakim Plogell, founder of PlaymakerAI.
Swedish Professional Football Leagues has been collaborating with PlaymakerAI since 2022, initially focusing on the U19 Allsvenskan, and since 2024 also including Allsvenskan and Superettan.
