The Police Authority announced today that the tightened conditions regarding masking will be put on hold. The police state that they are, for the time being, refraining from introducing new conditions regarding masking at major football events in favor of renewed discussions with the clubs.
“The Police Authority is working to ensure that we have safe and secure football events. In this work, dialogue with football stakeholders is important”, says Marie Borg, Deputy Head of the Operational Unit, Noa.
This means that this weekend’s matches will go ahead as usual without any new tightened conditions.
