Allsvenskan and Superettan will continue to play with an official league ball from SELECT Sport. Swedish Professional Football Leagues and SELECT have agreed to extend the current deal for another four years, including the 2028 season.

The partnership between Swedish Professional Football Leagues and SELECT began during the 2017 season. Up until then the games in Allsvenskan and Superettan had been played with balls from several different ball providers. Now – almost seven seasons and just shy of 5,000 goals later – it is already decided that SELECT will continue as the official ball provider for the top two Swedish football leagues between 2025-2028.

The official league ball for the 2024 season will be presented in November.

The official league ball is sold in the sporting goods trade via Stadium, Intersport, Team sportia and Sportringen.
SELECT and their subsidiary Derbystar already provide official league balls to eleven other European leagues, including the German Bundesliga, Dutch Eredivisie, Danish Superliga and Norwegian Eliteserien.
