At the beginning of September, Swedish Professional Football Leagues held its first joint commercial conference, where the clubs in Allsvenskan and Superettan sent their commercial teams. In total, nearly 120 people attended the conference.
“I am pleased and impressed by the clubs’ active presence and willingness to share with the aim of improving the entire collective”, says Jessica Linnman, Head of Commerce at Swedish Professional Football Leagues.
The purpose of the conference is to unite the clubs’ commercial teams with each other, to inspire, and to share experiences between clubs, the league, and invited guests.
Invited guests at the conference included representatives from Unibet, TV4, the Experience Institute, Sponswatch, as well as a guest lecture from Martin Lee on the return of the experience industry.

In addition, there were discussions about AI and commercial opportunities, cooperation with municipalities, revenue growth, strategy and pricing, football’s role in society, and piracy.
“We are very pleased with the conference. This was the first joint one ever, and there are all possibilities for us to develop the concept to become even better in the future”, concludes Jessica Linnman.
The conference was held at Clarion Post in Gothenburg.
